Patient Billing Limited (“Patient Billing”) is a UK-based medical billing and revenue cycle management company that provides billing and revenue management solutions to healthcare professionals.
As of the date of this statement, Patient Billing has 13 employees in the UK and 28 offshore and UK-based contractors.
We have taken steps to understand all potential modern slavery risks related to our business, in accordance with Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Patient Billing has an absolute zero-tolerance policy towards modern slavery. We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our corporate activities. Our policy reflects our broader commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls.

Patient Billing acknowledge our responsibilities under the UK Modern Slavery Act and are committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking within our business and supply chains.

We recognise the need for ongoing internal reviews and continuous supply chain due diligence.

We will not enter into or continue business with any organisation that knowingly supports or is found to be involved in slavery, servitude or forced labour.

Key Policies and Procedures:

  • Recruitment Policy and Onboard Procedures: Ensures due diligence on all employees, verifies right to work in the UK, and includes criminal record All employees are paid at least the UK national minimum wage.   • Outsourcing Policy: Third-party providers are subject to due diligence checks and supplier audits.
  • Whistleblowing Policy: Enables employees to report suspicious activity, including modern slavery concerns, without fear of reprisal.

We regularly review our policies and procedures to ensure they are in line with regulatory requirements and best practice. This also includes reviewing our due diligence and ongoing monitoring procedures in relation to our suppliers.

Our supply chain includes information technology, business processing centres and telecommunications providers, predominantly based in the UK, India and South Africa. We carry out due diligence and regular audits on suppliers, include contractual provisions where appropriate, and maintain a supplier register. We encourage use of our whistleblowing policy to report concerns and protect whistleblowers.

We conduct due diligence checks on all offshore contractors to ensure compliance with our ethical standards. This includes verifying employment practices and monitoring working conditions to mitigate modern slavery risks.

We monitor effectiveness through measurable indicators such as the number of supplier audits completed, training sessions delivered, and whistleblowing reports received.

This statement will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect changes in legislation, business operations, and best practice.

This statement has been approved by the Executive Leadership of Patient Billing on 6th May 2026 and is made in accordance with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
